Myjai Sanders, who is a former Cincinnati player, has put pen to paper on a contract that will keep him with the Cardinals for the next four years. The specifics of the agreement have not been made public.

Sanders was taken by the Arizona Cardinals with the 100th overall pick in the NFL Draft in 2022. The Arizona Cardinals obtained the pick from the Baltimore Ravens on the day of the draft as part of a trade that also brought them wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown.

During his final season at Cincinnati, Sanders was credited with more than 60 quarterback pressures, but he only ended up with 2.5 sacks. The Cardinals are hoping his 11 sacks in 24 games over the past two seasons are just the beginning of his professional career.

After Sanders’s signing, Cameron Thomas, the other edge rusher selected in the third round, is the only draft pick that the team has not yet signed.
