Nathan “Nate” Hairston is a professional football player who plays cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He weighs 84 kilograms and stands 1.83 meters tall. At Governor Thomas Johnson High School, where he went to school, he played football. He played collegiate football for the Temple Owls team while attending Temple University after graduating from high school.

The Indianapolis Colts selected Hairston with the 158th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In August of this year, the New York Jets acquired him. He was let go after the final roster cuts in September 2020, however he was then re-signed two days later. The Jets released him on October 1st, 2020.

On October 12, 2020, he was added to the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. In December 2020, the Denver Broncos signed him off the practice squad of the Ravens. He was released by the Broncos on April 8, 2021. He re-signed with the group the next day. He was released on August 31, 2021, and the next day he was re-signed to the practice squad.

He was elevated to the active roster in September 2021. In March 2022, Hairston and the Minnesota Vikings came to a contract for one season. He was released by the Vikings in August 2022. On September 21, 2022, Hairston became a member of the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.
