Nick Williams is a professional football player for the National Football League’s New York Giants as a defensive tackle. He is 1.93 m tall and 141 kg in weight. He graduated from Minor High School and then enrolled at Samford. He participated in football for Samford’s Bulldogs.
After being given a redshirt as a freshman in 2008, he experienced two years of backup responsibilities from 2009 to 2010. He recorded 23 tackles and three tackles for loss over the course of all eleven games in 2011 to win a starting place. He outperformed himself in 2012, making 31 tackles, eight for a loss, six sacks, and a blocked punt while playing in all 11 games.
The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Williams with the 223rd overall pick in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. On September 1, 2014, the Steelers signed him to their practice squad after releasing him on August 30, 2014. After being released from the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad in November 2014, he was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs.
He was obtained by the Miami Dolphins in October 2016, and they ended his contract in September 2017. Williams was acquired by the Chicago Bears in April 2018. In March 2019, he rejoined the group and inked a one-year contract. He signed a two-year, $10 million contract in March 2020 with the Detroit Lions. He made an official commitment to the New World Order on July 26, 2022.
