Peter Joseph Lambert is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball.

He was born on April 18, 1997, in the United States. In the city of San Dimas, in the state of California, Lambert received his high school education.

After finishing his senior year in 2015 with a perfect 13-0 record and a 0.34 earned run average, the Los Angeles Times named him the prep baseball player of the year (ERA).



It was announced that he would be playing collegiate baseball for the UCLA Bruins. Jimmy Lambert, Lambert’s brother, is also a professional baseball player. He is currently a pitcher with the Chicago White Sox at the present time.

As part of the 2015 MLB draft, Colorado Rockies scouts selected Lambert in the second round. A year later, he signed with the Grand Junction Rockies and the Asheville Tourists, and in 2016, he became a full-fledged professional.

Between his two organizations in 2018, he was 10-7 with a 3.28 ERA in 26 starts for the Hartford Yard Goats and the Albuquerque Isotopes.

The Rockies promoted him to the majors in 2019 and he made his major league debut on June 6th against the Chicago Cubs. Lambert will miss the 2020 season after undergoing Tommy John’s surgery 2020.
