Preston Williams is a wide receiver with the Miami Dolphins football team of the National Football League. He was born on March 27, 1997, in the Georgian town of Lovejoy in the United States. He played high school football when a student at Lovejoy High School in Lovejoy, Georgia. After graduating from high school, he played football for the University of Tennessee.

During his two seasons of play at Tennessee (2015–2016), he caught 16 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns. He transferred to Colorado State University, where he played football for the Rams while pursuing his academic goals. In May 2019, Williams, an undrafted free agent, agreed to terms with the Miami Dolphins. He was listed as one of the 53 players. When the Dolphins met the Baltimore Ravens in the team’s 2019 season opener, he made his NFL debut.

He has four receptions for 108 yards in Week 5 of the 2020 campaign, along with a touchdown reception of 32 yards, helping them defeat the San Francisco 49ers 43-17. He sustained a foot injury in November 2020, and as a result, he was put on injured reserve. In March 2022, he added a year to the length of his contract with the Dolphins.
