What Is Rashaan Evans Salary: How Much Does Rashaan Evans Make?

Last summer, when the Tennessee Titans decided not to pick up the fifth-year option on Evans’ rookie contract, defensive coordinator Dean Pees of the Atlanta Falcons couldn’t have been happier.

It’s not hard to understand why taking into account the amount of work Evans delivered during their last collaboration with Pees.

Evans, who was only a second-year linebacker at the time, played in all 16 games for his team in 2019 and tallied 111 tackles on his way to making it to the AFC Championship game.

In the last two years after Pees left, Evans had 96 and 57 tackles, respectively, but it wasn’t enough for Tennessee to keep the 27-year-old Alabama native.

Then along came Fontenot, who presented Evans with an opportunity to kickstart his career by reuniting him with Pees. Evans will have a cap hit of $1.6 million in 2022, which is a rather reasonable number taking into account the stats he has the potential to deliver.

Evans is now on a one-year “prove it” deal, but the fact that he has been successful in the past with Pees surely gives one reason to believe that he can outplay his money.
