American baseball  Scott Michael Oberg, who plays for the Colorado Rockies of Major League Baseball as a pitcher. He was born on March 13, 1990.

From 2009 to 2012, Oberg represented the Huskies in college baseball at the University of Connecticut. He participated in the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Bourne Braves’ collegiate summer baseball program in 2009.

In the fifteenth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft, the Colorado Rockies selected Oberg. He joined the Rockies and made his career debut with the Grand Junction Rockies after signing them.

He participated in 2013 with the Modesto Nuts. Oberg played in just 27 games as a pitcher for the Double-A Tulsa Drillers in 2014.

Oberg played in 66 games for the Rockies in 2017 and recorded a career-high in strikeouts while posting an ERA under 5.00 for the first time in his career (4.94). (55)

Due to issues with blood clots in his arms, the Rockies placed Oberg on the 60-day injured list on August 19, 2019, terminating his season.
Blood clots in his right arm caused Oberg to be placed on the 45-day disabled list before the start of the 2020 season, ending his season without making an appearance.

The third surgery Oberg has undergone to address blood clots was performed on him on March 26, 2021, to remove them from his throwing elbow.

After the surgery, Oberg was put on the 60-day injured list on March 27 and his career was in danger.
