Seth Daniel Romero is an American professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball.
Romero was born on April 19, 1996, in the United States (MLB). After playing college baseball for the University of Houston Cougars, the Nationals selected him in the first round of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft.
He is now playing for the Washington Nationals. Clayton Romero was not selected out of high school and went on to play collegiate baseball for the University of Houston Cougars.
Romero pitched in 22 games and made eight starts as a freshman for Houston in 2015, with a 7–4 record with a 1.94 ERA, 92 strikeouts, and seven saves.
He was suspended indefinitely prior to his sophomore season in 2016 for “behaviour detrimental to the team, which media outlets defined as low physical conditioning.
Romero was suspended for a second time by the team in April 2017 after failing a drug test, skipping curfew, and being photographed in uniform carrying a bong.
In May, he was re-instated, however, he only played two games before being released from the squad.
