What Is Shaun Wade Salary: How Much Does Shaun Wade Make?

Four years later, in 2021, the Baltimore Ravens selected Wade in the fifth round of the NFL selection after he had spent his whole collegiate career at Ohio State.

He was a five-star recruit and the team’s second-ranked cornerback in 2017, but he missed all of his freshman seasons with an abdominal ailment.

However, Wade was able to return to the field the following year, and he spent the next three years establishing himself as an important cog in the Buckeyes’ solid secondary.

He started 18 of the 35 games he played between 2018 and 2020, and he had six interceptions (one of which he recovered for a score) and three forced fumbles, earning him the title of Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year as a redshirt junior.

During the 2020 season, as a redshirt junior, he was also selected as a team captain. His brief career in the NFL, on the other hand, has been less than stellar. Since joining the Patriots in a trade with the Ravens before the 2021 regular season, Wade has played in just three games.

In August of last year, the Patriots acquired Wade from the Ravens in a deal. However, not all of Wade’s contract was sent to New England. As far as his new team is concerned, he is no longer under contract because the Ravens kept his $317,564 signing bonus.

Due to the fact that Wade’s $825,000 compensation is not high enough to merit Top-51 classification, it will not count against the Patriots’ salary limit until he is officially added to the 53-man roster in September.
