Taylor Michael Jones is a Major League Baseball first baseman and outfielder who now represents the Houston Astros. Jones was born in the United States on December 6, 1993.

During his collegiate baseball career, he attended Gonzaga University. Jones was taken in the 19th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft by the Houston Astros. In 2020, he made his MLB debut.

Jones went to Kentwood High School in Covington, Washington, for his high school career, where he played in basketball and baseball.

In his senior year of baseball, he led his team to a state championship in the 4A category. He opted to enroll at Gonzaga University, where he played baseball for the college team, after being undrafted in the Major League Baseball draft in 2012.

After the season, he was drafted in the 35th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Chicago Cubs, but he did not sign with the organization.

He was a member of the Anchorage Bucs of the Alaska Baseball League the previous summer when he played summer collegiate baseball.
