John Thomas Hatch is an American professional baseball pitcher who now plays for the Toronto Blue Jays in Major League Baseball. Hatch was born on September 29, 1994, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.

Jenks High School, located in Jenks, Oklahoma, was Hatch’s high school of choice. As a junior, he had a record of 7–2 with an earned run average of 1.60.



After not being selected in the 2013 Major League Baseball draft straight out of high school, he enrolled at Oklahoma State University and threw for the Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball team.
