Prior to coming to the University of Utah, Patrick attended and played for Grossmont Community College in El Cajon, California. Patrick participated in 22 games, starting 23, and finished with 61 receptions for 888 yards and five touchdowns over his three seasons at Utah.

Patrick had an injury while playing for Utah, missing 17 games. Patrick was the team’s top receiver in 2016 with 45 receptions, 711 receiving yards, and five touchdown grabs. At University City High School in San Diego, he played high school football with the Centurions.

Patrick joined the Baltimore Ravens on May 5, 2017, as an undrafted free agent. On July 30, 2017, he was released. He had four receptions for 44 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in Week 13’s loss on Sunday Night Football, 22-16, to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick extended his contract with the Broncos for a three-year, $34.5 million deal on November 20, 2021. During a drill on August 2, 2022, Patrick tore his ACL, which caused his season to end early. On August 3, 2022, he was placed on injured reserve.
