Trayvon Mullen, also known by his full name Trayvon Sentell Mullen Jr., is a professional football player who now competes for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals as a cornerback. His height is 1.88 m, and his weight is 91 kg. He was a Coconut Creek High School student. He played football for the Clemson Tigers at Clemson University following high school.
From 2016 to 2018, he was a member of the Tigers. He had intermittent playing time as a freshman, contributing 15 tackles and 1 pass breakup. He saw substantially more action as a sophomore, accruing 42 tackles, three interceptions, and seven pass breakups in 668 snaps across 13 games. After the 2018 campaign, he declared for the 2019 NFL Draft and said he will forgo his senior year.
In the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, Mullen was chosen by the Oakland Raiders. He intercepted Patrick Mahomes’ ball in Week 11 of the 2020 campaign, resulting in a 35-31 loss, to record his first interception of the year. Along with Casey Hayward, he began the 2021 campaign as a cornerback.
On October 9, 2021, he was put on injured reserve after sustaining a foot injury in Week 4. He rejoined the list of players in December 2021. He was placed on injured reserve following a toe injury in Week 14 of the 2021 season. To the Arizona Cardinals, he was traded by the Raiders in August 2022.
