Trystan Colo is a center for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League(NFL).
After serving as a reserve for the squad throughout his first season, Colon was recognized as the Lifter of the Year.
Colon’s accomplishments as a true freshman led to him being selected as an All-Freshman by the coaches of the Southeastern Conference the following year when he also started 13 games for the team.
After that, he went on to start all 25 games for the Tigers in 2018 and 2019, despite the fact that the school was penalized by the NCAA and therefore unable to play in a bowl game.
Colon was not selected by any team at the NFL Draft in 2020, hence the Baltimore Ravens made the decision to sign him as an undrafted free agent instead. On September 5, 2020, he was released from the active roster and re-signed to the practice squad the following day.
On October 10, 2020, he was added to the active roster for the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals and returned to the practice squad following the game.
He was added to the active roster on October 12, 2020, and he made his first career start on December 2, 2020, when the Ravens faced the Pittsburgh Steelers. This was in part owing to an epidemic of COVID-19 that affected the entire Ravens team.
