He was born on February 7, 1995, in Mexico (MLB). In 2017, he made his Major League Baseball debut with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Arano was born in the city of Cosamaloapan in the Mexican state of Veracruz. In April of 2013, he became a Los Angeles Dodgers player after signing with the team as an international free agent.

He made his debut in the major leagues with the Arizona League Dodgers that year and spent the entirety of the season with them, compiling a record of 3-2 with a 4.20 earned-run average in 13 games, of which he started eight of them.
