During his debut season with the Dolphins, Biegel started 10 of the 15 games in which he participated as an inside linebacker.

He finished the season with 59 combined tackles, 2 1/2 sacks, and one interception. After returning from his injury, he was only able to participate in five games and make two tackles.

After having foot surgery shortly after being selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Biegel was only able to play in nine games during his rookie season. He played for the New Orleans Saints throughout the 2018 season.

Additionally, the Ravens believe that Biegel will be able to assist with outside linebacker duties while second-round draft pick David Ojabo continues his rehabilitation from tearing his Achilles tendon.
