Yonathan Daza is a professional baseball player based in the United States of America. After the conclusion of the 2017 campaign, the Rockies included him on their 40-man roster. During his time with the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats in 2018, he recorded a batting line of.306/.330/.461/.791 while collecting 4 home runs and 29 RBI.

After suffering an injury to his left shoulder in late July of 2018, he was only able to participate in 54 of the season’s total games. The 2019 campaign began for Daza with the Albuquerque Isotopes of the Triple-A level.

After David Dahl was placed on the injured list on April 9, 2019, the Colorado Rockies gave Daza his first opportunity to play in the major leagues by promoting him. That very same day, Daza made his debut in the major leagues, taking the field against the Atlanta Braves.



In spite of injuries sustained by David Dahl and Ian Desmond’s decision to opt-out of the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Daza did not make a single appearance for the Rockies in any of their games that year.
