South Korean-born American football placekicker Younghoe Koo is presently a member of the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons. His birthday is August 3, 1994.
He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017 to begin his professional football career. But after missing back-to-back game-winning kicks,
the Chargers severed their relationship with him four weeks into the campaign. Koo played for the Atlanta Legends of the Alliance of American Football after taking a year off from football (AAF).
Before the AAF temporarily ceased operations, Koo made all of his field goal tries while playing for the Atlanta Legends, scoring the league’s first points ever.
Koo was able to make his NFL comeback with the Falcons that same year as a result of this accomplishment. Koo was chosen to play in the 2020 Pro Bowl because of his reputation for being able to successfully execute onside kicks, which he developed while playing for the Falcons.
