American football tight end Christopher James Uzomah currently plays for the New York Jets, who are a member of the National Football League (NFL). After graduating from Auburn University, he was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

C. J. Uzomah is the son of Xavier and Stephanie Uzomah. He went to North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia, where he was a quarterback for the school’s football team.

During his senior year, he had a passing efficiency of 238 yards with two touchdowns, a rushing efficiency of 74 yards, and a receiving efficiency of 168 yards with one score. He threw for 1,750 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior, plus he rushed for 800 yards and 10 more touchdowns on the ground.
