Reggie Travon Gilliam, a fullback for the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills, was born on August 20, 1997. (NFL). Despite spending the 2020 season as a tight end, he played collegiate football for Toledo and has played professionally as a fullback.
Gilliam was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and went to Galloway, Ohio’s Westland High School.
He had 18 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns as a senior, and his 565 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground earned him a spot on the first team of the Central Division of the Ohio Capital Conference.
For four seasons, Gilliam played on the Toledo Rockets as a walk-on tight end and fullback for the offense and special teams, respectively.
He was selected second-team All-Mid-American Conference in 2018 after leading the country with four blocked kicks as a junior. When his undergraduate career came to an end, Gilliam had 18 receptions for 153 yards, three scores, and six blocked kicks.
After making the Bills’ 53-man roster out of training camp, Gilliam was signed by the Buffalo Bills on April 25, 2020, as an undrafted free agent.
On September 13, 2020, Gilliam made his NFL debut for the Bills against the New York Jets. The following week, on September 20, 2020, Gilliam caught his first career touchdown pass from Josh Allen in a 31-28 victory over the Miami Dolphins .
Gilliam wears number 41 while playing as a fullback for the Buffalo Bills.
