Jose Suarez is a Venezuelan professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Major League Baseball (MLB).  During the summer of 2014, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim signed Suárez as an international free agent.

The Dominican Summer League Angels and the Arizona League Angels were his first professional stops in 2015. In 15 appearances, his combined record was 3-3, with a 2.97 ERA (13 starts).

He began the season with the Inland Empire 66ers before being promoted to the Mobile BayBears and Salt Lake Bees. He had a 3-6 record and a 3.92 ERA in 26 games with the three teams.

After the 2018 season, the Angels signed Suárez to a 40-man roster spot. He was placed on the disabled list to begin the 2019 season because of shoulder pain, and he was immediately sent back to Salt Lake City.

On June 2, Suárez made his major league debut against the Seattle Mariners, and he went on to win his first game in the majors.
