Devin Hafford played for head coach Craig Stump for two years and was a captain both times. As a junior and senior, he was chosen for back-to-back first teams all-district and led his team with 106 tackles.

D. Hafford played a significant part for the Texans in his first season. He participated in all 11 contests and had 54 tackles, including 37 solo stops, good for sixth on the team. Hafford recorded four pass breakups, 1.5 TFLs, and one fumble recovery. Additionally, he twice had ten or more tackles, including a season-high eleven versus Western New Mexico.
