Chadwick Hudson Pinder is a professional baseball utility player from the United States who currently plays for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB).

On August 17, 2016, Pinder was given a promotion to the Athletics department. Ahead of his promotion, he had a batting average of .258 with the Sounds, along with 14 home runs and 51 RBIs in 107 games played for them.

On August 20th, he played for the first time in the big leagues. After being promoted, Pinder finished the 2016 season with Oakland, where he played 22 games and had a .235 batting average with one home run.

In 2017, he started the season with Nashville, but on April 16, he was recalled to play for the balance of the season with the Braves.

His slash line for the Athletics was .238/.292/.457, and he had 15 home runs and 42 RBIs over the course of 87 games. In 2019, Pinder played in 124 games and had a batting average of .240 with 13 home runs and 47 RBI.

Pinder had 61 opportunities at bat for the Athletics in 2020 and finished with a batting line of .232/.295/.393 with two home runs. In 75 games played in 2021, he had a batting line of .243/.300/.411 with 6 home runs and 27 RBIs.

Chase Pinder, Pinder’s brother, played collegiate baseball for the Clemson Tigers and was taken by the St. Louis Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft.

He is presently a member of the Cardinals’ organization and continues to play for them.
