American football tight end Mark Andrews is a member of the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). Andrews is currently playing for the Ravens.

Andrews was born on September 6, 1995. After spending four years playing college football at Oklahoma, the Baltimore Ravens selected him in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

After breaking the single-season records for receptions and receiving yards for the Ravens, Andrews was selected to play in the Pro Bowl for the second time and was also named to the 2021 All-Pro Team.

Andrews was given a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes when he was nine years old; however, the disease has not impeded his performance in any way throughout his career.

He attended Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he played wide receiver for the school. Andrews has made a verbal agreement to play college football for the University of Oklahoma.

Before Kade Warner broke his record, he held the Arizona high school record for career receptions. Kade Warner eventually broke his record.

While at Oklahoma, Andrews wore a redshirt as a freshman but went on to participate in all 13 games and start one of them in 2015.

In 2016, Andrews started 11 of the team’s 13 games and finished with 31 receptions, 489 yards, and seven touchdowns after scoring on seven of those receptions.

The John Mackey Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship in 2017 was bestowed upon him. Andrews has decided to enter the 2018 NFL Draft rather than return for his senior year at Oklahoma.
