Mohamed Sanu plays American football in the National Football League. He’s not signed with an NFL team right now. The man is 95 kg and 1.88 m tall. Football was his sport of choice while he was a student at South Brunswick High School. For the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team at Rutgers University, he participated in collegiate football. He racked up 639 yards and three touchdowns on 51 receptions as a true freshman, in addition to 346 yards and five scores on 62 carries.

He had 3,019 all-purpose yards while playing for Rutgers, catching 210 receptions for 2,263 yards and 19 touchdowns. In addition, he completed eight of his 18 throw attempts for 207 yards and four touchdowns. He caught the ball once, twice for a total of 67 yards on punts.

In the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals selected him. They offered him a four-year, $2.71 million contract with a $563,252 signing bonus. He committed to the Atlanta Falcons in March 2016 to a five-year, $32.5 million deal. He was acquired by the New England Patriots in a trade in October 2019. He joined the San Francisco 49ers in September 2020.

He renewed his contract with the 49ers in March 2021. He joined the Miami Dolphins in July 2022. On August 29, 2022, he was freed.
