He rushed for 2,082 yards and scored 36 touchdowns in total during his junior season, earning him first-team All-Metro and first-team All-State recognition. He attended Northwest High School in Wichita.

As a senior, he rushed for 2,127 yards and scored 29 touchdowns, earning first-team All-State recognition once more and the Wichita Metro Player of the Year accolade. He played football for the Iowa State Cyclones from 2019 to 2021. Hall was promoted to the starting running back position for Iowa State during his true freshman season.
