Mykal Walker is a linebacker with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He weighs 104 kg and stands 1.91 m tall. He attended Vacaville High School, where he participated in football throughout his time there. He attended Azusa Pacific University after high school, where he played collegiate football for the Azusa Pacific Cougars for two seasons. He transferred to Fresno State in 2017 and started playing football again with the Bulldogs. In 2019, he made 91 tackles, 11.5 of which were for a loss, and 5 pass deflections.

At the conclusion of his college career at Fresno, he played in 26 games and finished with 183 tackles (94 solo), 23 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, eight quarterback hits, one interception, and two blocked kicks. In the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Walker was taken by the Atlanta Falcons with the 119th overall choice.

In 16 games with six starts at linebacker as a rookie in 2020, he finished with 40 total tackles, one tackle for loss, two quarterback hits, one pass defensed, one forced fumble, and six special teams tackles. Walker intercepted Cam Newton in Week 14 of the 2021 season, returning it 66 yards for a touchdown in a 29-21 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
