Anthony Robert Gose is a well-known name when it comes to professional baseball. He plays in the Major leagues and currently serves as a pitcher. He was born on August 10, 1990, in Paramount, California in the USA.

Anthony had his non-professional baseball career at Bellflower High School in Bellflower. He was also at the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Academy in Compton California. After high school, the University of Arizona awarded him a baseball scholarship.

Around that same period, the Philadelphia Phillies drafted him in the 2nd round of the 2008 draft. He chose to sign with the Phillies and forwent his college scholarship. He was paid $772,000 as a signing bonus by the Phillies.

He made his professional debut in 2009 when the Phillies assigned him to play for the Lakewood BlueClaws of the Class A South Atlantic League (SAL). He spent the 2010 minor league season with the Clearwater Threshers of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League (FSL).

He was traded to the Houston Astros in July 2010 who also traded him that very moment to the Toronto Blue Jays. While with the Blue Jays, he played for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats of the Double-A Eastern League (EL). He made his MLB debut for the Jays on July 17, 2012.
