Dakoda Shepley came into the world on December 27th, 1994. Ice hockey was his primary sport, and he didn’t start playing football until his second season after he had suffered a hand injury during the first.
He became a student at the University of British Columbia after registering there. In 2013, he wore a red shirt for the team.
He started at right tackle for four seasons and right guard for two of those seasons. He was a contributor to the team’s victory in the Vanier Cup during his sophomore year. He was selected as an All-star for Canada West at right tackle when he was a senior.
