DaRon Bland is a cornerback with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. Bland entered the world on July 12, 1999.

In collegiate football, he started out at Sacramento State before transferring to Fresno State. Bland went to Central Catholic High School in Modesto, California, where he also spent his formative years.

During his final season in high school, he was named the Valley Oak League’s defensive MVP. Bland spent his first year at Sacramento State.

As a junior, he was named to the first-team All-Big Sky Conference after racking up 43 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and two forced fumbles.

He also broke up eight passes and had two interceptions that year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States,

Bland’s senior season had to be postponed until the spring of 2021, therefore he decided to submit his information through the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Bland finally settled on Fresno State after much thought. He played in 13 games during his lone season with the Bulldogs, contributing 45 tackles, 5 pass breakups, and 2 interceptions.

In addition, he recorded five interceptions and a pass defence percentage of 0%. In 2022, in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, Bland was selected by the Dallas Cowboys.

Bland made his professional debut against Carson Wentz on October 2, 2022, and he promptly picked off the quarterback.
