Darren Hall is a professional football player who competes for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League as a cornerback. He is 86 kilograms and 1.83 meters tall. While attending Rancho Cucamonga High School, he participated in football for the school’s squad. He played football from 2017 to 2020 for the San Diego State Aztecs at San Diego State University after completing high school.
After redshirting his true freshman year, he played three seasons for the university. He had a career-high three interceptions, one of which was recovered for a touchdown, 38 total tackles, nine passes defended, two tackles for loss, and two tackles for loss in eight games as a junior in 2020, earning him first-team All-Mountain West honors.
In the twelve games he played in as a redshirt freshman in 2018, he started three of them. His final stats included 45 total tackles, two interceptions, two tackles for loss, a sack, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hurry. As a sophomore, he played in 12 games, starting 11 of them.
He finished his collegiate career with 134 total stops (101 solo), 31 passes defended, six interceptions, 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles in 34 games. Hall was taken 108th overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract with the Atlanta Falcons on June 17, 2021.
