Jacob McQuaide plays long snapper for the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys, a professional football team. He is 108 kg and 1.88 m tall. He graduated from Elder High School, where he played football. He participated as a sophomore in the football team’s OHSAA State Championship victory. As a senior tight end, he caught 10 passes for a total of 125 yards.

After leaving high school, he signed as a walk-on with the Ohio State Buckeyes to start his college football career. He rotated at long snapper over the first seven games as a redshirt freshman. As a sophomore, he won the right to serve as the team’s long snapper for punts and place kicks.

He remained the team’s long snapper throughout his college career, but he was never able to play tight end or provide any stats to the position.
