Jalen Mayfield, an offensive tackle with the National Football League’s Atlanta Falcons, was born on May 23, 2000. He attended Michigan for his college football career before being selected by the Falcons in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Mayfield was a four-year starter at offensive tackle and defensive end for the football team while he was a student at Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he was raised.
In February of his junior year, Mayfield made a promise to play college football for Minnesota, but three months later he switched to Michigan.
