Jonathan Ledbetter is in his fourth season in the National Football League. After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent.

Ledbetter made his first appearance in the National Football League (NFL) on September 8, 2019, against the Baltimore Ravens. He started the game at the defensive end and made four tackles, including a combined sack.

On September 12, 2019, he was placed on injured reserve. On April 21, 2020, he was taken off the active roster with the classification that he was out due to a non-football injury. The following day, he was reinstated to the reserve/non-football injury list for the team.

On the 31st of August, 2021, the Dolphins released Ledbetter from their roster.
