Keith Smith represents the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League as a fullback. He is 109 kg in weight and 1.83 m tall. While a student at Charter Oak High School, he participated in high school football. As a junior, he began at linebacker, making 110 tackles, 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and being selected All-CIF Southeast Southern Section.
He recorded 132 tackles as a senior, earning him the 2009 defensive player of the year and All-CIF Southeast Southern Section honors. He accepted a football scholarship from the school, and from 2010 to 2013, he played inside linebacker for the San Jose State Spartans.

He earned a B.A. in communication studies from San Jose State in December 2013. Following the 2014 NFL Draft in May, the Dallas Cowboys signed Smith as an undrafted free agent. He committed to the Oakland Raiders for two years in March 2018.
