Prince Tega Wanogho, who was born in Nigeria on November 22, 1997, is an offensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League.

He is now in his second season with the Chiefs (NFL). After spending four years playing college football at Auburn, the Philadelphia Eagles selected him in the sixth round of the NFL Draft in 2020.

Wanogho was born in Delta State, Nigeria, but in 2014 he uprooted his life and travelled to Alabama in the hopes of making it as a professional basketball player.

He received his education at Edgewood Academy in Elmore, Alabama, where he developed his skills as a defensive lineman in the sport of football.

Wanogho was a four-star recruit even though he had only played one year of football before to committing to play collegiate football at Auburn University.

Wanogho sat out his first season at Auburn to heal from a leg injury he sustained while playing basketball in his senior year of high school. This forced him to take a red shirt.

He was originally an offensive lineman, but he switched positions and became a backup for 10 games in 2016. In 2017, he took over as the starter at left tackle, a

nd he continued to hold that position all the way through his senior season in 2019, starting a total of 32 games throughout his time with the team.

Wanogho joined the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad after signing a contract with the team on January 16, 2021.

On August 31, 2021, he was released from the active roster and re-signed to the practice squad the following day. He joined the Chiefs on the reserves/futures roster and signed a contract with the team on January 26, 2021.
