Ross Stripling, a pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, was dealt to the Toronto Blue Jays on August 31, 2020, in exchange for Kendall Williams and another player to be named later.
Stripling made five appearances during his time with the Blue Jays, compiling a record of 0–2 with a 6.32 earned-run average and 13 strikeouts in 15+2 innings pitched. In 2021,
he finished the season with a record of 5–7, a 4.80 earned run average, 94 strikeouts, and 101+1/3 innings pitched.
He was born in the United States on November 23, 1989 (MLB). In 2016, he made his major league baseball debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and in 2018, he was named an All-Star.
After graduating from Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas, where he played baseball during his high school years, Stripling went on to play collegiate baseball at Texas A&M University.
