Tyler Allgeier is an NFL running back for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He stands 1.80 meters tall and weighs 100 kg. He went to California’s Henry J. Kaiser High School in Fontana. In high school, he played football. He finished his high school career with a school record of 5,000 running yards and 56 touchdowns.
After high school, he made a commitment to play collegiate football for Brigham Young University (BYU). At Brigham Young University, he spent three seasons as a football player for the BYU Cougars. He participated in four games and had nine carries for 49 yards during his rookie season at BYU in 2018.
After serving as a true freshman redshirt in 2018, he played both linebacker and running back for a short period of time in 2019. He participated in all one of the season’s 13 games, making 26 tackles and 0.5 sacks on defense and rushing for 119 yards on just 17 attempts. During the 2020 season, he started eight games at running back and appeared in all 11.
On 150 carries, he had 1,130 yards and 13 touchdowns in the final game of the season. Throughout his college career, he took part in 41 games, starting 21 of them. With a 6.4 yard average on 452 carries, he gained 2,899 yards overall and scored 36 touchdowns. At the 2022 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected Allgeier in the fifth round.
