What Team Is Will Hernandez On: Where Is Will Hernandez Now?

Will Hernandez

William “Will” Hernandez is a guard in American football who currently plays for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.

On September 2, 1995, Hernandez was brought into the world. His college football career took place at UTEP, where he also played the sport.

After sitting out his first season at UTEP in 2013 to earn a redshirt, Hernandez went on to start every single one of the school’s 49 games from 2014 through 2017.

After the conclusion of the 2016 season, Hernandez received recognition as an All-American by being selected to the second team.

Hernandez was honoured with a spot on the first team All-Conference USA after the conclusion of the 2017 season.

In addition to that, an invitation to take part in the College Football All-Star Challenge was extended to him. New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman made the selection of Hernandez in the second round of the 2018 National Football League Draft.

In 2018, the Giants trusted Hernandez enough to give him the responsibility of starting at left guard, and he went on to start all 16 games for the team.

In addition to that, he was chosen for the PFWA Rookie All-Star Team. On October 29, 2020, after Hernandez had a positive test for COVID-19, the Giants placed him on the reserve/COVID-19 list in order to prevent the team from being exposed to the virus any further.

It wasn’t until the 10th of November that he was added back to the active roster, but for the remainder of the season, he served solely in a reserve capacity for the team.
