A. J. Green, whose real name is Adriel Jeremiah Green, is well-known for playing wide receiver in American football for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He is 1.93 meters tall and 94 kilograms in weight. He was a student at Summerville High School, which is situated in Summerville, South Carolina.

He participated in football, basketball, and track as a three-sport athlete at Summerville. From 2008 to 2010, he participated in NCAA football for the University of Georgia’s Georgia Bulldogs squad after graduating from high school. He has 23 touchdowns and 166 receptions for 2,619 yards towards the end of his college career. He made his official NFL Draft selection in January 2011.

The fourth-overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft went to the Cincinnati Bengals, who then selected Green in the first round. In Week 2 of the 2018 season, against the Baltimore Ravens, he scored three touchdowns for the first time in his professional career. All three came in the first half, and the team won 34–23 as a result.

In March 2021, he committed to the Arizona Cardinals for a single season for a $8.5 million contract that included a $6 million guarantee. He achieved 10,000 career receiving yards against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14. A total of 54 receptions for 848 yards and three touchdowns brought him to the end of the season. He returned to the Cardinals in April 2022, signing a one-year deal.
