Former Notre Dame linebacker Adetokunbo Ogundeji is in his second season with the Atlanta Falcons. He was initially drafted by the Falcons in the fifth round with the 182nd overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. On June 15, 2021, he signed a four-year rookie contract with the team.

Ogundeji is a native of  Bloomfield, Michigan. It was not until his first year at Walled Lake Central High School that he joined the football program.

His first intention was to play college football at Western Michigan. Even though he had a great junior year with 68 tackles, 9 sacks, 17 pass breakups, and 4 fumble recoveries, he decided to leave Western Michigan after getting more offers from other schools.



In the end, Ogundeji decided to play for Notre Dame and signed a contract there. Sadly, a knee injury ended his senior year of high school football.

Adetokunbo Ogundeji attended the University of Notre Dame and played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from 2026 to 2020.

Ogundeji did not play a single game as a freshman and had little action as a sophomore due to his time spent on the scout squad.

In his junior year, he saw major playing time for the first time and finished the year with 25 total tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.
