When Was Makai Polk Drafted?

American football wide receiver Makai Polk presently competes for the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens.

In 2001, on August 4th, Polk was born. (NFL). At the University of California, he played college football before transferring to Mississippi State. After attending Susan Miller Dorsey High School for his freshman and

sophomore years of high school, Polk transferred to El Cerrito High School for his junior and senior years. Polk was raised in Richmond, California.



Polk’s collegiate sporting career with the California Golden Bears got off to a great start. He finished his rookie season with 19 receptions, 295 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

For 183 yards and one touchdown in the 2020 Golden Bears’ COVID-19-shortened season, Polk caught 17 passes. He took part in four games for the Golden Bears as well. At the end of the season,

He was awarded the starting role at the start of his first campaign with the club, and he went on to lead the Southeastern Conference with 105 receptions, 1,048 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns.

Following the season’s end, he declared that he will forgo the remainder of his eligibility for college and enter the 2022 NFL draft instead.

After being passed over in the draft, the Baltimore Ravens decided to take a chance on Polk and sign him as a free agent in May of 2022.

On August 30, 2022, he was released from active duty and then signed to the practice squad the following day.
