Richard Palacios, an American professional baseball outfielder, presently competes for the Major League Baseball Cleveland Guardians. He is currently 24 years old and was born on May 16, 1997. Palacios comes from Brooklyn in New York City.

Palacios was drafted by the Cleveland Indians drafted in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2018.

On November 19, 2021, Palacios was added to the Cleveland Guardians’ 40-man roster. Palacios began the 2022 season with the Triple-A Columbus Clippers before being called up by the Guardians on April 25, 2022. On that day, he started his major league career in left field.

Palacios played collegiate baseball at Towson University while going to Berkeley Carroll School in New York City. He participated in the 2017 Cape Cod Baseball Season’s Bourne Braves’ collegiate summer baseball league.

In 2018, Palacios made his professional debut with the Lake County Captains, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, and Arizona League Indians, batting.361 with six home runs and thirty runs batted in across 45 games.

He missed the entire 2019 and 2020 seasons due to a torn labrum and the COVID-19 pandemic, respectively. Prior to getting promoted to the Columbus Clippers in 2021, he began the season with the Akron RubberDucks.

He hit.297/.404/.471 over 103 games for both teams, with seven home runs, 48 runs batted in, 33 doubles, and 20 stolen bases.
