In American baseball, one of the professional players in the major leagues is Ashton Goudeau. Ashton plays the position of a pitcher and is currently a part of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. He was born on July 23, 1992, in Newport, Arkansas in the USA.

Ashton signed with the Kansas City Royals when they drafted him in the 27th round of the 2012 MLB draft. He played with the AZL Royals that season and played for both the Idaho Falls and the Lexington Legends in the 2014 season.

In March 2018, the Royals traded him to the Seattle Mariners. He spent the season playing for the Modesto Nuts, Arkansas Travelers and the Tacoma Rainiers. He signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies in November that year.

He was added to the Rockies’ 40-man roster when the 2019 season ended. They called him up to the majors in July 2020 and he made his MLB debut for the Rockies on August 19 2020. He was claimed off waivers in May 2021 by the Cincinnati Reds and in July 2021, he returned to the Colorado Rockies after he was traded to them.
