The Denver Broncos selected Sterns in the fifth round, 152nd overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. Sterns entered into a binding contract with the Broncos on May 11, 2021. Sterns was placed on injured reserve on October 28, 2022. Sterns comes from a long line of football ancestors, including three brothers who all carry a football gene.
