Colby Gossett is an American football guard for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL).

He played college football at Appalachian State. Gossett was named to the first-team All-Sun Belt as a junior and senior.

Gossett was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round (213th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft, which marked the beginning of his career as a professional football player.

On May 3, 2018, he put pen to paper on the terms of his rookie contract. On September 1, 2018, he was released from the active roster and added to the practice squad the following day.

After spending much of 2018 on the practice squad for the Minnesota Vikings, Gossett was eventually picked up by the Arizona Cardinals. Gossett was cut go by the Cardinals on the 31st of August, 2019.

Gossett was given a spot on the New England Patriots practice squad on September 2, 2019, after being signed by the team.

On September 11th, he was given his freedom.
