Professional cornerback Darius Slay plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. At 1.83 meters in height, he weighs 86 kilos. At Brunswick High School, he participated in both running back and defensive back sports. In the 2008 campaign, he rushed for over 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns, intercepted six passes, returning two of them for scores, and had over 150 tackles.

As a sophomore, he had 13 touchdown runs and 1,127 yards on 142 carries. Following his graduation from high school, he played football for Itawamba Community College.
