DaRon Bland is an American football cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Sacramento State before transferring to Fresno State.

Bland played football and ran track and field at Sacramento State for three seasons before moving to Fresno State. While at Sacramento State, he competed in both indoor and outdoor track and field events.

In addition to a few relays, he competed in the 60-yard dash, the 100-yard dash, the high jump, the long jump, and the triple jump. At the 2018 Big Sky Championships, he had a sixth-place finish in the long jump competition.

When Bland transferred to a larger school for his senior year and had a very solid season for the 10-3 Bulldogs, his draft stock made a pretty major stride upward. This allowed Bland to increase his chances of being selected in the draft.

DaRon Bland received his high school education at Central Catholic, then continued his education at Sacramento State for a while before moving to Fresno State.

As a senior, he was recognized as the best defensive player in the Valley Oak League due to the outstanding work he had done throughout his career.
