Where Did DeAngelo Malone Attend College?

An American outside linebacker with the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL, DeAngelo Malone is a professional football player. At 1.93 meters tall and 109 kilograms, he is also quite tall. Prior to changing schools, he attended Martin Luther King Jr. High School. He attended Western Kentucky University after high school and played collegiate football for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.



In his rookie season, he produced 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and five quarterback hurries. With 60 tackles, nine tackles for loss, six sacks, eight quarterback hurries, and two forced fumbles by season’s end as a sophomore, he also had nine quarterback hurries. He received All-Conference USA honorable mention recognition that year.

In total, he made 99 tackles as a junior. He also had a fumble recovery returned for a score, 16.5 sacks, 11.5 sacks, 16.5 quarterback hurries, and was 12th in the nation in quarterback hurries. He was honored as the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Conference USA in 2019 and 2021.

In addition, he was chosen as Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year for the upcoming campaign. ESPN also listed him as one of the top five outside linebacker prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft. Malone was taken by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 82nd overall pick.
