D. J. Reed, also known as Duane Dennis Reed Jr., is well-known for his work as a cornerback for the National Football League’s New York Jets. He is 1.75 meters tall and weighs 88 kilos. Independence High School in Bakersfield, California is where Reed studied. During his high school football career, he amassed 13 touchdowns, 1,150 yards of total offense, six interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
He was the only athlete in school history to play both basketball and football and be voted MVP in both. He made the decision to play football with the Fresno State Bulldogs at the university. He redshirted in 2014 when a true freshman at Fresno State. He subsequently transferred and attended Cerritos College for a year. On March 17, 2022, Reed and the New York Jets reached an agreement on a $33 million, three-year deal.
