Where did DJ Reed go to college?

D. J. Reed, also known as Duane Dennis Reed Jr., is well-known for his work as a cornerback for the National Football League’s New York Jets. He is 1.75 meters tall and weighs 88 kilos. Independence High School in Bakersfield, California is where Reed studied. During his high school football career, he amassed 13 touchdowns, 1,150 yards of total offense, six interceptions, and five forced fumbles.

He was the only athlete in school history to play both basketball and football and be voted MVP in both. He made the decision to play football with the Fresno State Bulldogs at the university. He redshirted in 2014 when a true freshman at Fresno State. He subsequently transferred and attended Cerritos College for a year. At Kansas State University, where he played football for the Wildcats, he made yet another school switch.

He announced his intent to enter the 2018 NFL Draft in December. He was chosen by the San Francisco 49ers in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. In his second season, he took home the Super Bowl LIV trophy. In August 2020, the Seattle Seahawks claimed him off waivers. Due to his strong performance, Reed kept starting for the rest of the year. On March 17, 2022, Reed and the New York Jets reached an agreement on a $33 million, three-year deal.
